This week I prepped my small panels for the matrix and got a few of them started. 

I'm using the matrix as a way to experiment with extremes, because my paintings tend to fall to comfortably in the middle rather than making a bold statement.

I started making collages based off of photographs, sketches and observation on the panels to create a variable in execution.

Right now I'm focusing on:

-Shape

-Flatness

-Clarity

-Composition

-Pattern

-Merging

-Facades

-Distance

-Color

-Mundane/extraordinary
